KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is kicking off its inaugural fundraiser for Pain & Palliative Care services for hospital patients who need to relieve stress. These services benefit children with chronic illnesses and severe pain levels by exposing them to art, music, massage and acupuncture.
The inaugural “Talk Derby to Me” event will take place on Saturday, May 4th at Tennessee’s largest residence, the exquisite Villa Collina.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will allow patients to receive pain and palliative care services, which are not covered through insurance.
